I think you nailed it on the spot when you mentioned problems resurface "due to technological change or heightened consumer expectation." I want to add to that to make it a sustainable business, the company must constantly offer their best offerings and at a competitive price. Failure to constantly stay up-to-date with the market demands creates this ever-revolving cycle of me-too's. Recent news regarding AOL's decision to "sell off" under performing assets, one of which is their X-Drive, is a perfect example. They paid $35M for it and now willing to sell for $5M to get rid of it.&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">stevenloi</dc:creator><pubDate>Mon, 28 Jul 2008 01:44:51 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
